We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Arena Flowers' new Shopify Plus site, the latest in a long line of exciting Juno + Shopify projects. 

After struggling with their old custom-built platform, the Arena Flowers team decided they needed a cleaner, more usable platform – something that would save them from spending hours on development tasks behind the scenes. That’s why we helped them replatform to Shopify Plus. 

The UK’s most ethical florist

Over the last 14 years, Arena Flowers delivered more than 10 million beautiful flower bouquets across the UK. Every order is carefully arranged and hand-tied by one of the team’s dedicated florists, creating beautifully unique bouquets for every single customer. 

And Arena Flowers’ bouquets don’t just look good. For every bouquet sold, Arena Flowers plants a tree in countries suffering from deforestation, such as Haiti, Mozambique and Madagascar. So, it comes as no surprise that 2019 saw the brand ranked as the most ethical florist in the UK, scoring a perfect 100 on the Ethical Company Index. 

Bloomin’ good design 

With bouquets so luxurious they could be in a museum, we wanted to design Arena Flowers a website that celebrated their products. Keeping things minimalist with plenty of room for immersive imagery, the website acts as a neutral backdrop to the brand’s range of stunningly vibrant bouquets, ensuring not to steal attention away from the products. 

A simple navigation allows you to filter by price, occasion, variety or colour, meaning it’s immediately clear how to search for the bouquet of your choice. A large, minimalist banner invites you to subscribe to the Arena Flowers newsletter, while a homepage carousel showcases the brand’s various high-brow media accolades. 

Now Arena Flowers don’t need to spend all their time on website updates, they can invest that extra resource into their marketing. And with an easy-to-use, robust platform behind them, they’re ready to dominate the floral market.
